  • A Feast Upon Arival—

    A 15-passenger van will be awaiting you upon arrival to take you to your accommodation to check-in, then participate in a moderate hike around the GuuhlGa Siiwaay k’iiwaay Spirit Lake Trail in Skidegate, followed by a traditional Haida feast in an Elders’ home.

  • Yakoun Lake—

    Drive 20km north of Daajing Giids on active logging roads to access the Yakoun Lake trailhead to participate in a moderate 20 minute hike through old growth forest (700+ year old trees) to reach the lake for a picnic lunch with the option to swim in the crystal clear waters.

  • Sleeping Beauty Ascent—

    Reach for the top as you climb Mount Genevieve through old growth forest to the nose for unobstructed views of Yakoun Lake, Rennell Sound, Tow Hill and Masset. The Sleeping Beauty trail is a challenging 2-hour hike with opportunities for stair and rope climbing. Explore this beautiful landscape, the unique plants, and vegetation that call Mount Genevieve home.

  • Exploring Northern Graham Island—

    Travel to New Massett, Masset, and Old Massett to visit art galleries and studios, totem poles, and carving sheds. We will continue our travels to North Beach to view the tallest standing totem pole located in the Hiellen Village and explore the beach, views, and blowholes; there is an option available to participate in a moderate hike up Tow Hill.

  • Moresby Island Foraging & Fine Dining—

    Guests travel to Moresby Island to participate in guided short walks into the forest to forage food to be used in the preparation of their evening’s gourmet meal prepared by a local, passionate chef. While dinner is being prepared, guests will visit artist’s studios located in Sandspit, then travel to Gray Bay for a BBQ, beachcombing, and a light hike to Secret Cove. The day will end with a fine dining experience created with locally sourced ingredients.

  • Haida Heritage Centre, Saahlinda Naay Museum, and Balance Rock—

    Start the day at one of the most mysterious and photographed sites on Graham Island: Balance Rock, then travel to the Haida Heritage Centre to view the stunning poles, followed by a fascinating look into Haida Gwaii culture at the Saahlinda Naay Haida Gwaii Museum.

  • Hike to the Pezuta Shipwreck—

    Located in Naikoon Provincial Park, this moderately easy trail covers 10 km (4-hour) round trip, winding itself through coastline forest while following the Tlell River to the ocean and then the shipwreck. During a particularly wicked storm in 1928, the 264’ Pezuta came to rest along this long stretch of pebbly sand, known locally for its proliferation of agates. The ship’s bow remains intact, listing hard to port, after nearly a century of erosion from the punishing North Pacific’s wind and waves.

  • Golden Spruce Trail, Port Clements Museum, and Tlell Galleries—

    Explore the Port Clements Museum for a walk through Haida Gwaii’s pioneer history, continue to the Golden Spruce Tree Trail for an easy hike to view the place where the famous Kiid K’iiyas (Ancient Tree) once towered. In the afternoon, enjoy the art galleries in Tlell.

  • Stand-Up Paddleboarding—

    Get out onto the water with an expert guide on this two-hour paddleboard tour on the enchanting Tll.aal Tlell River. This tour promises an unforgettable adventure on the quiet waters of the river.

    Alternatively, paddle two hours around islands in Bearskin Bay located in front of the Village of Daajing Giids. View the land from a different perspective; an evening paddle is also available.

  • Salmon and Halibut Fishing Charter—

    Join us for an hour scenic boat ride on MV Nauti by Nature to the west coast of Haida Gwaii to enjoy a thrilling day fishing for scrumptious salmon and halibut, as well ample opportunities to view marine life! You’ll spend your day fishing in Cartwright Sound (known to locals as Skidegate Point) on the west-facing side of Graham Island.
